Alternator replacement
« on: 13 August 2012, 09:54:54 »

That time has come... I notice there isn't yet a "how too" so I guess it will be the usual Haynes........"undo bolt and SIMPLY remove" ...that we are all to familiar with as we remove the last layer of skin from our knuckles as turn the air blue!!

On a bit of searching I saw that some had said to remove the inlet manifold and presumably the EGR etc

Is this the best way to get to the bolts? or do I not need to do that ?

Can't see why removing manifold would help.

When you do it, fancy taking some pics and writing a guide? ;)
