Couple of questions;
Firstly - has anyone had any experience of the AEB kits that Tinley sell? (
http://www.tinleytech.co.uk/acatalog/Bigas_Sequential_Gas_Injection_Systems_-_Full_Kits.html)
Secondly, doing the maths based on ~20mpg on gas vs. 22mpg on petrol it looks like a saving of ~9p a mile assuming petrol is 133.9 and gas 79.9 (around here).. So about a year to pay itself back.
But assuming 40mpg out of a similar sized, newer, Diesel car, I'd be saving 12p/mile rising to 15p/mile at 50mpg.. somewhere between those figures is probably achievable (on a motorway run, which is where my 22mpg was from on petrol) - of course it would take (much) longer to pay back given the purchase price of, say, a 525d Touring.. but on the face of it, given the Omega has ~100k on the clock and is starting to show it's age, that seems a better bet, no?
I know, I know, if I'd LPG'd it two years ago I'd be quids in by now

but then Mr Telio has done his disappearing act again now anyway...
