Well thats me sorted. Had a chat with Admiral, added the 3rd Omega, got a nice deal from them. Made a few more phone calls and promply fell asleep till 5.30 (when I was due to pick the car up at 3)
Did all the tranfer went through all the documents (had allready paid for the car the night before (Allthough I bought it with out a test drive or going to see it) I had known the owner for years and the car from the day he had bought it.) got a phone call from her indoors saying she was about to finish work, so finished off our chat and the transfer, and promptly found out there was a majour problem. . . . . . the firking radio/CD unit was dead (how can anyone possibly drive without music?

Took it home, checked the fuses, looked ok, but took the radio fuse out and refitted it, all was sorted apart from the safe code reset, all done and cheffed to buttons with the car.
Runs like a dream, and allthough it's only a 2.2 I have not felt the need to push it or even use the kickdown, very happy with it indeed.
