Try vodc.co.uk
There's a helpful bunch on there and being a general Vauxhall/Opel forum, it gets quite busy.

Might be worth posting your Vectra problem in this section. Some people on here know a lot about Vauxhalls (and cars in general)other than Omegas. ;)

I have found the same sort of thing on other forums too, One the Jeep forum closed, I think because they wanted to charge members for some areas, but not sure, but there one day and gone the next.... :(

OOF Rocks....... :y :y :y

Agreed  :y

I find and see a lot of other people finding the same on AOC- the majority of help threads started take three or more "bumps" to agitate a response!

Hence I randomly ask the oof community things about tiny tiny commonrail diesels, Citroens, wideband setups, annoying neighbours, and anything else random I can think of!

Because usually, someone has the answer and don't mind sharing the knowledge!

I can't even understand why NOBODY can seem to bring themselves to spend a few minutes (sometimes less) tying a reply that could be trivial, yet a massive help! I mean, why even be on the forum, if times that tight for you, unless you were once in the same position when you first had a problem with yours said particular car?

Guess it's just the oof spirit- mind, this whole tapatape malarky on smartphones is terrible in the sense that you tend to select "latest" and each time you read a thread and exit it, it's gone forever until someone else replies.. Kind of sucks really, you have to reply to it there and then, not "I'll just nip to the loo while I think how to word what to put", or "what was the other topic I saw with an interesting title" etc. Tapatalk users will know what I mean but it really is a poor habit to get into regarding forum socialness! (I'm terrible for it myself)

I'm on 2 Jag forums - one of them occasionally has more than 5 members on, and the other wants to charge for allowing graphics signatures - just put sig at bottom of post for free ???

Both of them are less friendly than OOF, with certainly a lot less good technical assistance.

I hereby declare my undying love for OOF!

I know absolutely nothing about what goes on under the bonnet so I can't contribute anything in that way.
But it never fails to amaze me just how knowledgable, helpfull, quick to respond and friendly the guys on this forum are. Nothing is ever too much trouble and the speed of the responses is no doubt vital in some cases. Must be really frustrating on other forums looking for help and it takes hours or days to get

So well done guys, a well deserved pat on the back to each of you. You are a credit to yourselves, the site and of course the mighty vauxhall omega!  :y :y :y

One of the other augments for not getting another make/model, you can post up here any fault and guaranteed to get a great technical response, usually within minutes!

Omegas may cost bit more to fill up at the pump, but with DIY service costs, you save a bloody fortune!

I have had some pretty bad experiences on another forum, so tend to keep myself to myself now, but I do find it very friendly and helpful on here.

I'll just chime in support of OOF (and I'm also a Mod on VODC) - YOU GUYS ROCK!!!!!!!!!!  :y

Everytime I get a problem, or a query with 'Morticia', a quick post on here always results in a fast and (normally ;) ) helpful response.

Keep up the good work guys!!
