Stearing
« on: 28 August 2012, 20:11:46 »

Hi All, my 2.2 CD failed its MOT today, it needs a new idler arm. I'm a bit confused about the other section as no motor factor can name it or sell it apart from a main dealer. The part number is 90445587 and it looks as if it sits in the larger ring of the idle arm, with a bush. Has anyone got any ideas. Please advise if you have.

You should only need the idler arm... Buy a Lemforder part IIRC ;)

Changed one today actually, in about 40 mins :y

Dont be tempted to buy a cheap ebay version.I put one on my car and it failed the MOT the next day due to excessive play. ;)
