I have a daz 6 and must say they are great bits of kit.

This is the way i wash my motors.

Rim's first which i was using billberry but have switched to iron x. I still have some of the billberry and still use it on occasion. You spray on and then use a brush to agitate then rinse off.

Then snow form the hole car using one lid full of meg gold class and one pump of snow foam. Leave to dwell for a few mins and drag top dirt down.  Then rinse.

Then wash with two bucket methord complete with grit gards using meg wash mit. Rinse using open hose to bead off water.
If very hot day i will wash panel by panle and use my water spot.

Then dry using drying towel and meg last touch as drying aid and gives back abit of a shine due to small carnauba content.

If its big detail time i do all of the above but not drying stage i then use my compressor to blow all the water out from mirror's and trim's i would then use a bug and tar remover then clay the hole car.  Then re-wash.  Then polish using super resin polish and then finish off with dodo juicy banana armour.  Then glass and trim bit's and then on to inside but don't get me started on that lol.

I will have to get some photo of my collection of detailing goodies up at some point maybe once we have moved into our new house and my man cave is sorted.
I'm sure we'd all be interested on how you wash/clean the Interior  :y

Oooo Get some pics up too  ;D :y :y

Never heard of Dodo juice, have heard of the dodo though I thought they where extinct ? unless they turned into Dodo juice? who knows lol  :o ;D ;D

I don't know how my butler washes my car but he does a fantastic job ;D

pressure washer first, soap and sponge next, rinse off, demon shine all over, chami dry. thats all I do.

then hour later go and wash again due to birds poo on it, happens every time without fail :y

...local ex-fuel station, £6. 20 minutes, done.

Though that is the daily driver Astra!!

Them wash mitts are just the ticket ;)

I do a full wash pretty much as described on the pride n joy, a couple of times a year, then in-between these "main" washes, i cheat and use "showroom shine"  :y

I asked a mate of mine what I should buy to wash the car with .. he gave me this list; needless to say, I took the car to his house  ;D

Quote
Wash Mitt
Budget: http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/washing-and-drying/meguiars-lambswool-wash-mitt/prod_282.html
Recommended: http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/washing-and-drying/wash-mitts-sponges/dodo-juice-supernatural-wash-mitt/prod_578.html
This is possibly the most important piece of kit in your bag, and I would really, really recommend getting the Wookie's Fist. It's so much better than anything else.

Shampoo
Budget: http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/washing-and-drying/meguiars-gold-class-shampoo-64oz/prod_423.html
Recommended: http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/washing-and-drying/car-wash-shampoos/dodo-juice-born-to-be-mild-shampoo/prod_490.html
No harm in the first option, it's good stuff, but the DJ BTM just foams up that little bit better and smells gorgeous.

Microfibres
Budget: The ones you can get for £4 for about a million of them from Costco. I've a load sitting in my garage, you're welcome to some of those.
Recommended: Well, you can't get cheaper than free ;)

Polish
Budget: http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/car-polish-compounds/meguiars-ultimate-compound/prod_554.html
Recommended: Borrow my DA plus extensive selection of pads and compounds
First one will be hard work by hand and you'll get an average result. Second one is a good day per car, but it will look like new afterwards.

Wax
Budget: http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/sealants/finishkare-1000p-hi-temp-sealant/prod_589.html
Recommended: http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/wax/dodo-juice/dodo-juice-supernatural-30ml-panel-pot/prod_442.html
First one is for the lazy, as it's a pain to put on and take off but it will last you for about 6 months, works fantastic on wheels too and will save them getting covered in brake dust. Second one is the dog's danglies in terms of ease of use and final finish, but that's only for a tiny pot. I've got a tiny pot of it, and I've done two cars with it so far and have used about a third of the tub so that size will probably do you.

Not on your list but stuff I'd also consider a must-have:

Wheel cleaner
http://www.espumadirect.co.uk/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=2_14&products_id=16
Not from the same place and not cheap, but this will last you forever and a day, and you can ask Mark just how good this stuff is at removing crap from wheels. If it can make the wheels of the Honda look good after approx. 2 years of never being cleaned... ;)

Tyre shine
Budget: http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/wheels-and-tyres/autoglym-instant-tyre-dressing/prod_805.html
Recommended: http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/wheels-and-tyres/meguiars-high-gloss-tyre-gel/prod_103.html
I actually use the cheaper one here, as it's a bit multi-purpose and can be used on under-bonnet plastics as well (or anything black and plasticky, outside trim included). Doesn't last as long as the other stuff though, which I believe Mark uses and it's very good stuff.

Interior cleaner
http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/interior/poorboys-natural-look-dressing/prod_328.html
You can do leather, cloth, plastic, anything with this. And it smells lovely too.

Polish and wax pads
http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/accessories/meguiars-foam-applicators-pkg/2/prod_177.html
Must have for putting on the wax and stuff.

Clay
http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/detailing-clay/wolfs-chemicals-aggressive-detailing-clay/prod_939.html
You must do this before polishing, else you'll just make more scratches.

Detailer
http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/detailing-sprays/meguiars-last-touch/prod_225.html
This will last you forever, and is used with the above. Anything will do though, the Dodo Juice Born Slippy would be my next choice if you wanted to buy a smaller bottle.

Drying towel
http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/washing-and-drying/huge-38-x-28-microfibre-drying-towel/prod_154.html
Chamois leathers are old skool and crap. These things are the daddies, even Jo uses them on her car as they're so easy to use and brilliant. That one's out of stock ATM sadly, but any specific large microfibre drying towel (key words) will do. I've got my last couple from Costco IIRC.

Also available on their website are buckets with grit guards, just buy a cheapy holdall from Argos to keep it all in.

A very extensive and helpful list  :y thank you  ;)

No problem - I can't claim the credit, that all goes to my friend Dan (who isn't on here - I pinched his list from another forum we're on; which means there isn't, actually, a big stock of microfibre cloths here for people to come and have ;D)

Has anyone tried this stuff, Rain-X ?
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Rainx-Rain-x-2-in-1-Glass-Cleaner-Rain-Repellent-Cleans-Repells-Rain-/251125661446?pt=UK_Car_Accessories_Car_Care_Cleaning&hash=item3a78417f06

Used it for years, as it works very well. But you do need to ensure that your wiper blades are in good condition as the Rain-x doesn't clear too well in light rain or low speed.

It also makes scraping ice off the screen much easier.

Rain-X can become a pain if you need to wipe screen.

I used to use rainX now I put a set of silicone wiper blades on each car I have, the silicone coats the glass and gives you the same effect.

AUTOGLYM CAR GLASS POLISH 325ml

I used something new on the glass when I was at Dan's, and it worked far better than regular glass cleaner (I've always used Mr Muscle - better than the Autoglym anyway).. this stuff: http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/index.php?_a=viewProd&productId=540

Worked really well - spray on and buff off with a microfibre, took all the road grime off the inside of the windscreen a doddle (I don't think the previous owner knew what glass cleaner was!)

I read somewhere that you can use Clay bar's to also clean your Windows, Chrome grills, plastics, Rubbers, etc...?
