cars and van going up 50p to £2
multi axle vehicle going up £1:30 to £5

Its been £1.50 for 20+ years...  ...I remember, as I was always chased by the staff, as I use dthe autotoll in my van, thus only paying £1.50, rather than £4(?) for vans . A little bloke always used to run across, but was never quite quick enough

The Severn crossing is £6!!!    and that's to go into Wales!! 

On LPG it's probably cheaper to go on up the M5 to Gloucester and cross the river there!!

No it hasn't...  It always used to be £1.  Only went up to £1.50 in the last 4-5 years.

Could have sworn it was 1.50. I remember it was always 2 coins, and I always used the 'largest' coins for speed (so the little man wouldn't catch me ).  When was the £1 coin released?

Mind you, don't go my my memory

Yep, His name is Boris Johnson, its not been a Toll for a long time, its now a congistion charge and as far as I know its all now paid for and the money goes to TFL.

If they had the insight of fitting RHD and LHD window takers then wouldn't be a congistion in the first place, as its mainley EU trucks having to climb over the Cab to pay that causing most of the congistion.

it only went up too £ 1.50 about 4 years ago now...on a normal week they take in the region of £ 99,000,000 a week!!!

TB is (sort of) right... Vans were always £1.50 when cars were £1, even car derived vans Really used to grip my poo 

I have a Dart Tag (3 now actually as both my vans have one too) as you get cheaper crossings and no faffing with coins

i think for a car with a tag it is still 97p??...that will go up

Theres congestion because the tolls are there. If the tolls werent there they wouldnt have the localised congestion and localised pollution which they claim they collect the money to try to combat.
Insult to the intelligence doesnt begin to cover it.

i think for a car with a tag it is still 97p??...that will go up

Currently £1 for a car (so saves 50p) and £1.75 for vans, or 2 axle goods vehicles as they describe them (saving 25p)

I doubt very much the tag charges will be unaffected.

And the top priority these days is supposed to be helping businesses stay afloat and be competitive.
Cars & vans should drive straight through.Large trucks - stop at the booth,UK registered go through free.Foriegn registered pay £50.
