Yeah I love my Omega, but I have to hold my hands up and admit, instead of staying on top of things apart from servicing, the car quite literally backs me into corner, before I do anything. eg jump starting with the van :'( now new Bocsh 4 battery, crappy chav sports exhaust, replaced with Eternal system and after a 100 mile round trip today on M25,wandering all over the shop :o inside edges of front tyres SHOT :-[ again my fault put off front suspension rebuild for too long, but even with above headaches shes still quiet, smooth and quick :y

Probably due to the lid getting stuck, sometimes even if torqued correctly.

Which bit? I think Cliffo B was one member who torqued it correctly and filter housing still jammed at next oil change.

Or the conversion?

Since I've been servicing mine, never had an issue. Its certainly less messy than the spin-on fitted to my 3.0l

When  I bought mine it was not far off needing a new front tyre[so I've replaced that]another ccr2006 as the one fitted wouldn't eject the cd cartridge[been replaced]and needed the cam cover gaskets replacing[done]now needs new screen as it's cracking on nearside, then I can take it for M.O.T.But as it's a 2000 F/L 3.0 elite and I've had 6 months running out of it for a purchase price of only £400 I can't really complain[still prefer Senator B though!]But take heart the number of new cars I see coming into where I work for problems[sometimes serious]to be sorted is frightening!
