Sport mode indicator
« on: 19 September 2012, 19:13:43 »

Changed the trim around the gear lever today, and all seemed to be ok. Noticed now though that the indicator on the dash is not showing, The actual button lights up, and I can 'feel' the change, but the dashboard indicator is not on.
I know it was working this morning, so not sure what I've done. I think the connections are all complete, and the other tell tale signs are there anyway. Blown bulb maybe? Not worth worrying about really, but just thought I'd ask in case anyone else had suffered this, or there's something I've missed.

Cheers  :y

Probably a silly question but would the light be controlled at the switch? I initially thought the cable disconnected from the actual switch as the other connector was just under the lip of the trim and i didnt see it at first  Don't think I damaged it though?
Just wondering if it'd be worth replacing the switch / loom?

Yep. Pressing "S" will illuminate dashlight, but not in your case John :D :)

Yeah think it must be the bulb. Just very coincidental that it stopped after I had been messing around with it?
