I thought the Times comment section on the matter was excellent and follows my train of thought on leadership.

That said put this in to perspective, he deserves a preprimand and a bloody stern one too.  But to loose his job over this would set a dangerous political prescedent.  The press coverage on this one smells a little off....

I have no views on it, purely because until the facts are known, how can I have a view on it? Currently, we have him saying one thing that doesn't add up with what the media (who weren't there) account...

So I'll reserve judgement until the facts come out.
