Thats your powersounder misbehaving.

Remove it

It lives under the driver side windscreen scuttle.

Ignore it, and you may find your car reduced to ash, the batterys leak, and catch fire!

Dont delay :y

If you are concerned about how to do it, you have Darth Loo-knee in Kidsgrove. He's an ugly pig, but knows his way around an Omega :y

More likely to be the rechargable batteries have failed, and spewed their guts all over the PCB...

Get in touch with Darth Loo Knee here on the forum. He is very local to you and knows his stuff.
You won't regret it. Apart from getting your alarm issue sorted, you will learn lots about the Omega.

All the best.

Simple job ..... just unplug it & remove from the car.
The immobiliser works by talking to the chip inside your key.  :y :y :y
