Now it needs a 2.3 crossmember/engine mounts/rack/exhausts and a 2.9 from a Scorpio.
Which is fun in a Capri, and sneaky in a Cortina.

Used to drive one just like that one,it was a company car (british steel) It wasn't until it's MOT came due it failed because the front and rear number plates were different. No one noticed that for 3 years,

Very nice Guy......Always liked the shape of the Mk3....... :y :y

I liked the Idea of dropping a V6 into it, we did this with a couple of MK2's many moons ago, leave the original diff in and a great 'sleeper'..... :D :D

What you doing with the Triumph?

We had a Mk3 2 Lit GXL as a pool car many years ago (also in Daytona yellow).  Not a bad motor to drive but not a patch on my 3 lit Mk1 Ghia Granada (a company car)
