A well lookeed after 'high milage' is generally better than an unloved, uncared for low milage car. Milage isn't the B all & end all,    and you'll find people's cars here have anything from 'low milage' to 250k miles plus

You're absolutely right. Mileage is a kind of rule of thumb scale to measure how knackered a car is and obviously it is not absolute IMO. I reckon I can't have a that low mileage one as most of the miggys are at least 8-10 years old  by now.

TBH if a car has too low mileage I'll be suspicious about that one - was the driver reluctant to drive it? Why (it's such a lovely car to drive)? If the driver was reluctant to drive it then very likely he was reluctant to maintain it as well. I will try to steer clear from such cars.

I already have an 2.6 Elite which I'm looking to sell for repair/spare (I'll post another thread for it in here). I drove my mate's 3.2 MV6 and I liked it lot more than mine in terms of power, handling and interior.

  I know that's a lot. But don't you worry...as I'm gonna buy another Omega I'll keep posting for a while  .
