You posted a Thermostat question in another thread, faulty thermostat could also cause an issue on LPG. :y

Absolutely, especially if the coolant temperature is dropping below the "switch over" temperature. :y

Thanks guys, I raised it in this thread today as it occured to me I have one of those temp gauges that is more like an altimeter than a temp gauge.  Any thought about the latest pics though?

Thanks to Lazydocker for that, apart from the injectors you would hardly know LPG is there.

Apart from the 90L tank in the boot that is  ::)

Right for the last day and 1/2 been running on LPG with no issues, auto changeover to LPG seems to work, and acceleration is there. Wonder if all the twisting and tugging of badly installed pipes and cables did something.  On parking up I felt evap and it was cool but pipes warm, is that correct?

Part number for thermostat taken from housing is GM 90501081 2503185

Looks like gas valve is next to vaporizer,  vaporizer should be the same temp as the engine the water from engine to heater( normally the heater valve it self ) there should be a tee piece one pipe to heater valve the other to vaporizer, also the same with the return pipe from heater:  if running engine for a short time vaporizer should get warm on a short run should be quite hot running on gas or not, nice cluster of wires and pipes ;D hope this helps :y

I would change the stat before going too mad, the Vaporizer needs a good source of constant hot water for the LPG to run good, sounds to me like the moment cold flowing air is hitting the radiator cooling the water temperature then the Vaporizer is struggling to do its job.

Yes 1st step is going to be replace the stat then will give an update.

Also can any one tell me what the small black box on page 1 with the red screwdriver handle is for in the LPG set up?  the right pipe as you look at it comes from the injector block and the left one goes to the Y connection from the vapouriser.  Inside is a small circuit board.
