New toy
« on: 18 October 2012, 18:28:16 »

It's a jaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaag man!  :P :P :P :P

Yup, goldie has been naughty and as I fix one problem another unfolds so I have decided to retire her to the big fat breaker in the sky :'(  I will be breaking her for parts and moving the lpg kit on to this:

And yes, it's the proper jag with the Straight 6:

I picked her up for a song with no MOT which she passed today with only a few advisories.  Happy days  8)

(Right, now to get a hold of Teilo for a 91L spare wheel tank!)

Beautiful car!
Sure is. Personally, not the right colour for a Jag, but great cars, if occasionally stubborn.

The colour looks best in person, and it will look better once I have done a little work to it  :y

And 'only' 321hp on these unless I upgrade the pulleys on the SC  ::)  Still pulls like a train and leaves most things behind  :y

Nice. Always fancied one of those myself but one has never turned up in the right condition at the right price and right time. Yet...

I have been given the details of that place before, I didn't that's where you worked :y

My priority is the lpg kit and that is rated to 320hp.  This means that I will already be pushing the kit to the max and thus have to set it to switch over to petrol at a certain, as yet undetermined, rev range.  Although tempted by the pulley upgrade I dont think it wise as yet (unless I upgrade the vaporiser ::) hmmmmm )
