I find that if you keep pressing the hash key, you end up getting the same result

Don't talk to me about the Post Office. Ordered a switch (via a human!!) from a major electrical distributor. It was dispatched last Friday, 1st class, and I'm still waiting. I thought 1st class meant next day?   ::) ::)

We have had stuff gone missing before so now most things we send are recorded delivery or special delivery , even the postman keeps putting next doors letters in our box   ::):(

I tracked down a letter that I'd sent recorded delivery (but was never delivered) by finding the 01 number of the local sorting office on www.saynoto0870.com

I spoke to a chap who seemed a little startled to be speaking to Joe Public, but he was very obliging and found the letter.  It seemed that the Postie didn't get an answer, put the card through the letterbox, but they never bothered to collect it!!  >:(

All the website could tell me that the letter 'is progressing through our network for delivery'....  ::)
