Hello Omegos!  ;D

I want to freshen up the trim in my ex-plod car and one thing the eats me up is the state of the soft rubber like coating on my door cards, centre trim and so on.....

Is there a way of re doing it? Aerosol???

there were some places you could get it done when i had my last volvo ( somebody had it done at the big uk meet on t5d5.org by a company while we were all at this volvo dealer for the meet - cant remember the company who did it) but it's available or it was with the volvo

Hi Dave....if you go to the general help area....go to general help page....look up page number ten....which was the 30th september this year....go down the page to line number 5.....its subject is ...resurfacing door card handles.(rubber coating) there you will find photos of how i did my door cards and switches and centre console gear lever coatings.....pete very kindly put my pics on for me as too thick to do it myself...and there are other members suggestions how they did theirs....well worth looking at ,and my results were realy great..made my car look great...cheers  :y

Thanks guys! I wasn't sure what I was gonna do about it.....
Ok, had a look...
Although the polished plastic looks good, not really what I'm thinking and I'd be worried it would mark easy...
I think I'll have a look for special paints???
Plasticoat or something????
