Hi I;m new here and would like to ask for some help if i may.

I have an Omega B 1998 with a philips cd/tape radio and bose. Does anyone have the wiring diagram to connect a parrot ck3100 please.

I have tried Parrot and the companies they recommended without any luck.

Normally done by using the Mute Signal or using that Signal (Via Relay) and switching the Amp off for OEM with Amps with no Mute input, think the bit your going to be struggling with is the Bose 2 ohm speaker set up, not sure if the Parrots Amp output will like that, as it will be designed for the standard 4 ohms setup.

Not sure its possible for exactly the same reason

Surely its a simple case of using the mono aux in.....

Im guessing normally the the front speakers output get switched through the Parrot and end up on an internal dummy load inside the Parrot as normal (assuming an higher than normal 4 ohm) and the Parrot switches its own Amp to the Fronts, so what if they were left alone ie, the same as the Tweeters, back and Subs and all get muted via the Amp being switched off, also assuming no Pops or Clicks through the Amp when getting switched On and Off due to the Speakers still being Hard Wired.

Then what if, the Parrot was just to drive its own Hands Free Speaker(s) under the foot well?.

Seems a bit of a waste of the Parrots functionality over the norm but should work.

Parrot output level is Speaker Out, dont know but guessing 5 - 10 watts out, also 98 Elite so guessing Phillips 700 or something, does that have Mono in?

No there not, many Parrot kits have a line output (e.g. CK3100 plus many others), the speaker level outputs are normaly derived from an external amp/relay module, you simply dont connect this bit.

That would seem a very easy and sensible solution

If it's a '98 then it should have a CCR800 radio. This has pre-wiring for phone which is located behind the glove box. All the connections you need are there - including mute and the mono audio - in that's been mentioned.

There is also a co-ax cable running up to the interior light position - this can be used for the Parrot microphone input.

Try to use Aux In, as MDTM says, and ignore the speaker switching relays. Most Parrotts have the line out required.
