[Pedders Suspension]

Hi All,

We've made some progress with fitting rear subframe bushes and rear trailing arm outer camber bushes to our '51 reg Omega 2.2CDX.

I've added the Omega to our vehicle select drop-down so the car now exists within Pedders 

We managed to get the Omega in yesterday and fitted the camber bushes and subframe bushes. I'll be doing a write up shortly.

We have just got more stock of the 5803s offset camber bushes in stock but are waiting for more of the EP1145 subframe bushes to arrive from Australia. If you do want them before the next shipment arrives, we can get them within 14 days and you don't pay for the shipping from Aus, we pick up the tab for that.

Pm'd Mike today, suggesting a group buy. Try and get the price down a bit if possible. See if we can't shift a few of these. I know I'm interested, and if the price was a bit lower I would think some of you would be too.

I mentioned our failed attempt to get powerflex to make some for us, and their "projected" possible price of about £80 to him. Also that from memory we had about 30 members showing interest. Or there abouts.
For transparency i can post his reply if he gives me permission, but for now, I can say he has said he will speak to his managers and let us know by Monday.

Mean time could I ask you 'orrible lot if your interested...?


Now obviously we don't know the pricing yet, or even if they will accept a reduction at all. I presume this will depend in numbers. But he did say if we wait 6 to 8 weeks the price could be lower still, based on 30 pairs sold.

So, who's interested...? If you are please add your name and country for postage of not uk. If not please say why.

Ps, this will depend on costs paid up front to Pedders. So please don't mess about.

I would add, ex taxi al has these fitted, and from the passenger seat, the improvement in ride and accuracy is marked.

At risk of repeating myself, again these bushes are worth every penny

They are a piece of cake to fit, they last indefinitely and transform the level of control at the rear suspension. They are compliant, not firming up the ride too much, but they do really locate the rear wheels

Don't forget, with poly bushes, they don't wear out, so no more changing crappy pattern parts every five minutes

If I had a brand new Omega I would fit these to it straight away
