Wynns lifter treatment
« on: 03 November 2012, 18:40:17 »

My omega 3,0 v6 have been suffering quite badly from valve ticking/knocking. After reading on this forum about wynns valve treatment i went to my local car accesories shop in norway and amazingly they had it in stock. Bought a can and poured it in without having much faith in it. But by the time i got home the car ran as smooth and quiet as ever:) no more knocking. Very useful product, and a big thanks to all the helpful people on this forum. By far the best omega resource ive come across online:)

If lifter treatment did not stop the ticking it would suggest it's not lifters.

Exhaust manifold perhaps?

It's I.D.ing the noise IMO.
Fanimold is a futty exhaust noise
Lifters are a tocky hollow noise.
