nearside knock sensor

any tips on replacing the nearside (passenger side) knock sensor, looks like its been repaired before & does not look to healthy so needs replacing. Book of lies says remove engine mount but is this the case? hopefully will cure pinking i have under acceleration

Are you sure of removing? The knock sensor is a really massive and reliable stuff rather it's wiring and connectors have some issue. There are a lot of "how to check" on the Tube be sure of your business before doing anything. Once I managed to get it out by using a flexible extension bar and a small mirror but it was a really pig job. Good luck mate !  :y
