Here we go again!!! central door lock disabled as doing funny things....been like that for 2 years.....now the driver door lock is sticking when being open with key so!!! while it was open took panel off to lubricate then locked it (panel still off) lock is now stuck locked so have to climb in from passenger side...where can I go from here...any ideas..lady in distress :'(any help greatly received..

Hi Tunnie just been out to try it. It clicks if you pull it up or down but will not open even if someone tries the outside handle at the same time... with the key it appears to lock and unlock but nothing is happening even giving it a good thump!!!!

You are right dbug it is not easy climbing over the hump in the middle if you have long legs!!!! but needs must...

I would imagine part of the linkage has seperated itself from the rest of the linkage.Shine a torch in and have a close look for one of the metal rods dangling loosely.

Hi Albitz have check the linkage and everything else which seems to be in order.. external and internal handles working the locking button seems to lock and unlock and the key locks and unlocks the locking button!!!!! but the door still will not open!!!! any more ideas HELP

Bye the bye don't mind taking the car to someone in the area even up to Glasgow or down to Ayr/Prestwick/Cumnock etc as long as I can get it opened.
