Comes on.Stop.Restart goes off.
Comes on again.Seems to be after running at a steady speed
Car runs fine
No codes showing.

I believe a code will be stored after the EML is illuminated for 30 seconds or more.

Are you sure it is the EML?  How are you reading the codes (or lack of)?

weve got a code reader at work, its a mid level one that we got from the tool delivery guy. does most cars, apparently.

You seam to be having a similar problem to me,I have just put a EML topic up on the board,what have you been replacing.

No codes stored
eml did,nt come on.Only short journeys

Not hijacking this but I`ve had the "spanner" light come on about 4 times in the past month and when putting my reader (Maxscan) on it, comes up with no codes stored or pending ???
