Did anyone watch tonight's trail ?

I don't normally watch it but I heard that the Conservative MP was up for her first bush tucker trial tonight vs Coronation Street actress Helen Flanagan......... I'll say no more if you have seen it, Just that it was such a shame it wasn't David Cameron in the coffin, ;D ;D

It's OK you lot talking about not watching it, I have a Miss Vamps and swmbo to argue with, if both on form then I loose.... ::) ::) Actually I like to let them have their own way occasionally, lulls them into a false sense of security...... ;) ;)

Personally, I don't have a problem with "Strictly" at all. It has rekindled an interest in dance that has sadly been missing for a long time. Although I cannot dance at all (70s disco style excepted!  ;)), my older brother met his wife at dance school at a time when dancing was the Saturday night activity - rather than swigging designer booze and popping pills.

The dances that feature on Strictly have a steep tradition, be it Tango or Charleston, and I find it refreshing to see a number of young people becoming interested in what was previoulsy a dying pastime. :y

Remember that light entertainment has always had a place in the TV schedules going back decades. Remember the Black and White Minstrel Show?

Whoops, please don't ban me. Sorry, sorry. :-[ :-[

Oh Nick, you where doing so well.

I'm currently sat in front of strictly now.  >:( ;D

To be fair, it's the least irritating of the "look at me, I'm the centre of the universe" attention seeking self centred over dramatic totally useless all the gear no idea programmes on tv. There's actually quite a positive fun loving friendly spirit from the show. I'm not sure that was always there before.

Anyway, she likes it, and I get some piece. So it's all good.  :y
