1967 Viva SL90 in Monaco White with power brakes.
Bought from Marmion road motors in Southsea for £300 in the seventies.
The gearbox didn`t like to go into 3rd very often as I remember.

1970 Hb Viva SL - running on two cylinders so fitted a SL90 red engine (69 bhp) to it - crashed it a few months later and put the engine into a SL HC Viva

Mine was a Red Corsa B FL 1998 1.2 16v 5 door. Bought it in 2002 with only 13k on the clock, sold it 4 years later with 56k. I absolutly loved that little car. The only problem i had in 4 years with it, was the idle air valve went kaput.

They didn't have one  :y  throttle body does the idle control

Excuse my mistake, yes it was the throttle body electronic thingy, it stuck open when it failed, revved its little knackers off it did  ;D

The first car I ever bought ,back in 1959 was a Vauxhall....it was a 1938 18hp straight six, 4 speed floor change, and had cable brakes, was just like something out of Bonnie and Clyde, great big mud guards, running boards, the lot..cost me £10 quid, 4 weeks wages :y...fantastic, will try and sort a foto..

My first vauxhall was a mk1 Astra 1.3 sr I think in copper metallic and as mentioned before yes it went like stink but smoked like a smoky thing lol to the point that if you floored it the road and everyone behind you dissapered even Q would have been proud of that lol I finally died when it started to make a ticking noise not very loud by noticeable so my mate had his head under the front as I blipped the throttle and it went bang big time he lost his eye brows and singed most of his head when we looked we found a big hole in the block and number 3 piston upside down in the sump strangely enough we rocked it back and forth in top and it in sezied and it started up on the key lol
