For me,although I did vote UKIP,I really can't see that the mediocre service that we receive from TVP is suddenly going to noticably improve because there's a new sheriff in town.The only time you see a police presence in our town is when you go into the local service station on the A329 at around 11 pm, so not really a fan of the local constabulary as I feel that we already don't get value for money and regardless of who's in charge, if the government says jump he or she will say how high because why would you risk your newly accquired 86 grand doddle of a 'job'

Our local UKIP ,would not offer email questions only a mobile nuber, so i sent her an SMS..

the reply was not encouraging, so , she got no vote..

Her:UKIP genereally opposed to it
Me: so not totally?
Her: never say never on anything, but not at present..

UKIP is against the privatisation of any Police services, but you can never say never to anything should the government move the goalposts.

 I am the only Merseyside candidate who has been a Merseyside Police officer, although for only a year, so I do understand your concerns.

 I have no connections with any company that might wish to tender for contracts, however I cannot comment on any company that currently has contracts.

odd ,that once I checked via contacts in the force, no one even remembers her name, obviously, either a fabrication, or she couldn't cut it...

Its especially disgusting, when tonight, we have Children In Need on the box, begging for money from us, whilst our government are quite up to spending £100,000,000 (Lizzie's figures) on something that is proving to be the biggest white elephant in decades.

Lib Dems got 20,511 votes 9.0%
UKIP got 19,324 votes 8.5%

Turnout was a massive 13.3%.

Don't worry the economy is doing spiffingly well, so we can easily afford this, along with ever increasing overseas aid budgets, windmill subsidies and growing EU membership fees. After all it is not their money, we plebs have to graft and provide it.
