Hi,
I have just acquired an Omega Elite 2002 and have the xenon headlamp warning message. I havent got round to looking at the sensors yet but have no idea how to accept the warning and clear the message to read the display.
The factory stereo has been replaced (i believe there was a display button on there).
How else can I clear the message and access the other display details?
Thanks Toby

Fix the fault :)

Although, without the stereo, that display will be a PITA.

Ah, 2.6. Is it a MID? If so, S and R buttons on wiper stalk :y

Hi,
I plan to fix the fault shortly.
My stalk does have R and S buttons on the wiper stalk - perhaps been replaced. Are they easy to swap if I get a used replacement?

If you're asking whether the stalk is easily replaced, then yes. It's a gift  :y

So can I only work the display if I get a new stereo and paired screen?

Yup.

Or change screen to a (later style) MID.

MID needs to be correctly programmed for car, would need a couple of wires running, and a wiper stalk with S and R
