Loving it, does what it says on the tin, no regrets on getting rid of the Omega, although, during nine years of ownership (2 Omegas), it's still a fine car.

Had it a month now, went for a decent run last week, and really enjoyed it.

Best part, I got 450 miles out of £74 worth of diesel, lots of mixed types of driving and traffic conditions.

Miggy would have given me about 230/240 miles of the same sort of driving.

Seating is very comfortable, lots of power from the engine, very solid and positive on the road.

Lovin' it, no regrets at all in getting rid of the Miggy I'm afraid.

To me it feels very responsive in the 50-70 mph range, far more so than my miggy, without flooring it

But you never go above 45mph

You'll find that it doesn't get much more anxious if you do floor it.


Apart from poor rear visibility, and a rather uninspring drive, I quite like the Insignia. In fact, I have 2nd dibs on the one I took to France last summer in about 18 months. It could be my next car

But you never go above 45mph

You'll find that it doesn't get much more anxious if you do floor it.

I found I didn't need to floor it, it was responsive enough.

I have to agree, there is more rear view visibility in an Omega, but I've got used to it, don't find it a problem.

Probably fit rear parking sensors to it, looks simpler to fitting on the Omega.

Shall be having it serviced whilst under warranty, but will do an oil and filter change in between.

Even I can get 700 from a tank on one of those
