hi everyone,
replaced the hbv in my omega and still no heat!!!! all ok under the bonnet, plenty of the stuff, but nothing coming through into car :(
could it be an airlock in radiator matrix????? been told that could be it, please help, useless female.......cold!!!!!

when fitting HBV did you connect bottom heater hose AND fill (using funnel) top hose before fitting to HBV-if not you probably got air lock :y

You may also have a blockage inside the heater matrix .

Worthwhile removing the 2 quickfit hose connecters at the bulk head and giving the heater matrix a flush through both ways.Covered in the maintenaince guide for hose removal

Worth checking that the servo's are still connected to the blend flap first....

is the HBV connected to the wrong vacuum by any chance ?

turn up the heater control to anything above "LO" and check to see if there's a vacuum at the pipe on top of the HBV. If there is vacuum, then you've got a wrong connection.
