Fast limo

A British registered limo for sale in Germany - with the 2.9 litre, 207hp Cosworth engine. Hmm  - interesting.

Even if it had a V8 ..It couldn't justify its "looks" if anything the limo looks even worse if that's possible  :o   ;D

(interior looks comfy enough for a ford)

But still with just a 2.5 engine.  That would seriously lack power.

However, why not buy both cars, take the Scorpios Cosworth engine out and put it in the Omega.  Then sell the 2.5 Vx engine, and scrap the awful bodyshell of the Scorpio.

Job done! ;D ;D ;D ;D :y

PS Or sell the Scorpio with miggy engine to Del Boy down in these parts.  He likes Scorpios! :D :D :D :D ;)

A cheap limo makes a good summer car.
Or at least the £250 Dorchester I had a few years back did. That was a white, stretched Mk2 Granada, although it didn't have the extra side door. I bought it as a birthday present, used it throughout the summer, took it to various car shows(9 of us drove around the Hop Farm at 1 in the morning when somebody said they'd never been in a limo) and sold it for £250 when I'd had enough it.
With a stock carbed 2.8 and auto, it was unbelievably slow and handled appallingly, but driving it always made me smile. Took up 2 parking spaces which didn't make me popular, but then I'm used to that!
We nearly built a 6door Metro stretch at work while the boss was away, as he'd mentioned he was thinking of a bigger courtesy car. Unfortunately, he scrapped one of the Metros in the yard before he went, so it didn't happen.

207BHP lugging that weight around will be far from 'fast'.  ;D

Oh I do :y. As much as it pains me to say it, I always found them more comfortable than Omega's.
