the bionic woman has been reconstructed using the very latest in science and technology. they have spent '$50,000,000' on the components that make her bionic and want to ensure that she is kept in tip top condition as she is a 'very valuable asset'.

sadly, after all that expenditure, they seem to have only been able to stretch to £250 on a 1987 saab 900 for her to roam about in. nice.

Don't know about silicone bumpers --  silicone brain, yes. God knows what in bionics, they can see and hear everything she does, yet last week she needed her mobile to get instructions! Isn't her ear duplex ?

'at some point'....

the show got axed during the writer's strike by the american channel who commissioned it, so they only ended up making eight episodes. i they've shown all eight in the uk now. oh well.

series 1 ended with a complete cliffhanger, then they said 'yeah we're not going to bother making a series 2'. at that point i vowed to never invest so much time in another 24 part american drama...    then heroes started...
