Love the sky at night, won't be the same without him.
I heard/ read somewhere that he wanted his ashes scattered in space. Wonder if it's true and if so how will they go about that?

I watched his programmes with great interest, so it is sad that he, a  great mind and eccentric, has departed to the stars. RIP :'( :'( :'( :'(

Very sad to hear the news today. As a baby I visited his house and was laid on his lounge floor whilst my mother tended to his frail mother... Probably one of my first ever real memories TBH

He's been broadcasting for 55 Years, My parents are the only other people who I have known  or been aware of all my life, that in an incredible achievement.... :y :y
