good evening every one
can anyone please help me i am looking for someone out there who has the "My Naff Code Reader" system and can do a check on my car a 1998 omega elite estate please i am in the SE27 aera of london near crystal palace the problem i am haveeing is that i get a reading on my screen of 7.1 MPG i put £10 of petrol in and get 25 miles from it so if anyone can help please contact me

£10, about 1.5 gallons, is probably not far off for 100% urban use in this weather, esp if auto.

Yep - I get about 25-30 miles per tenner out of my 2.5.

Yep - I get about 25-30 miles per tenner out of my 2.5.

Blimey!  :o  I get about 40 miles of city driving out of £10 in my 3.2 auto estate!

My missus always used to nag me about driving too fast.  Since the birth of our daughter, she keeps having to remind me that I can do more than 40 in a 60 limit!  ::)

What kind of GSi is it mate?

That's good going!
I think my 2.5 MFL was more efficient than the current Elite, but that could also be manual vs auto issue too.

What kind of GSi is it mate?

Carlton GSI 24V
Plus I'm building a 12v GSI engine for my other Carlton - Lots of fun coming!  ;D

I alwasy found that the 2.6/3.2 were not so efficient as the 2.5/3.0

75 miles from £10 in London on the 3.2 Manual, mind you that is on that Gas stuff!, if on Petrol about 42 miles, still not as good as the 3.0 Manual though.
