Just when she needs an offensive weapon there's a couple of pounds of steel in her hand. Risky strategy. I've done myself enough injuries with an iron without SWMBO's  help. Mental note to wait for it to cool down next time I fill the steam generator. :-X

I have bought SWTSMBO a few irons.......

They were bought to replace to ones that she damaged. strangely enough they all broke the same way......they hit the wall   :o :o

one of them was still plugged into the wall with one of those flexy extensions......she lobbed it at me when i really hacked her off  ;D ;D once it had hit the wall the flex decided to coil up again.....and headed towards her....her face was a picture ;D ;D

trust me i have to really wind her up....and when i do....stand well back.....i love her really

Sounds like it's a good job you're only at home 2 days a week. Must lower the life insurance premium a bit. :o

....Hmmmm, well: I think 'technically' anything that makes one feel 'better' when using it cannot by definition be an appliance.....so, chocolate fountains, smoothie makers and ice-cream makers fall into the non-appliance (welcome) gift-band....whilst, irons, laundry, saucepans fall into the other more 'consequential' band!  ;D

...bet you didn`t realise it was so complicated?  ;)

Tell me about it. Reading your post makes me think I'm lucky to be alive. I got away with a hostess tray and a casserole dish at Christmas. Maybe I'm being gradually poisoned instead of a sudden death... :-/

You have it easy with us blokes. Anything involving beer or the combustion of hydrocarbons and we're happy.
