Hence my comments on the other thread, which some found to harsh!

and those who are bone idle. The bone idle deserve no help from the taxpayer imo,and I would imagine most right thinking people would feel the same way.

Thats key problem

I said it before & i'll say it again, reduce benefits on those fit & healthy to make a job more attractive.

That should affect around 90% of people on benefits  ::)

That really is remarkable. Not just the fact that he didn't want to start at 8am, but also the fact that he admitted it !

Amazing

This is so funny it has to be a wind up. ;D ;D

If it is not them I'm speechless, the chap should be taken out and shot to save the benefit he receives :y :y

I love the bit where he thought the woman was being rude to him, I mean the poor baby. He admits to doing cash in hand jobs and refusing a job because of the hours and I bet no benefits office will do anything about it.

All assuming it is real.

 >:(  Imagine how a listener who has just lost their job after years, and quite possibly decades of starting at a proper early hour feels on hearing that lazy work-shy sponger !!

If this was not a wind up, then what a moron he is

My hubby  Travels 2& 1\2 hours to work, then starts work about 4 am on his first day of a 6 day shift, then work between 13 to 15 hours a day for 6 days straight, away from home in a truck

he does that because he will NOT scrounge on benefits while he has the ability to work

and that lazy bone idle little ch*t doesn't want to start work at 8 am, what a joke

Sounds like a wind-up to me. Nobody could be quite as cretinous as this caller. :)

I tend to agree Opti, I had a quick google on it and reading other message boards about 50% of comments say wind up.

I don't think it is, there are more people with this kind of attitude out there than people realise. They don't want to take low-paid jobs because they'd then have to start paying their bills out of it
