Big Thanks to D
« on: 31 December 2012, 09:36:30 »

Yesterday collected 4 x Dunlop SP Winter Sport tyres, mounted on CD alloys for a very reasonable price  :y

Many thanks for letting me collect them yesterday, hope you have a safe flight on Tuesday  :)  :y

Same ones on a BMW Z4, in deep snow appear to get great traction:

Great reviews too:

Plenty of tread left, looking forward to giving these a go in snow:

I put the Conti Sport contacts back on and went to the shops a bit later. I had a shock when I realised how bloody noisy those Contis are and how quiet the Dunlops are. I almost thought I had a bearing issue at one point, thats how noisy they are.

Its amazing how much noise a tyre can make, good to hear those Dunlops won't be loud  :y
