Cruise control

I have 2003 2.2 Omega petrol auto, can anyone please reccomend some one around Wigan area who can enable cruise control in ECU for me.

Sadly around that area, we have no members with tech2. Closest we would have is MarksDTM in Nottingham, which is a big trek.

Might have to try your luck with a dealer, you need a new stalk (around £50) if it a manual, you need a clutch switch.

Thanks I will check with dealer, I got new stalk and its auto so hope thats all I need

Fit the stalk yourself, dead easy:

Then all the dealer has to do is a tech2 enable  :)

Depends on engine fitted, if 2.5 TD, then yes they generally work already.

I believe there is a company A S Autocare who can sort you out. Never used them myself though.

Yep 2.5 TD
TD needs no programming to enable cruise. All other DBW Omegas do require a chat with a Tech2
