Aftermarket HU
« on: 31 December 2012, 16:13:42 »

Ok not for an Omega but more a general question. Does anyone know if its possible to either move or piggy from a front Aux port so it comes out of the back of the HU.

I'm doing a build at the moment and want to move the aux socket so i don't have all these wires trailing around the dash. I can then run an extension out so the socket can be fitted into the centre console or become part of a USB Socket

Cheers

really depends on the stereo.

Good brand stereo, not much at all.

El-Cheapo stereo and probably not worth doing.

Its just a Halfords Kenwood unit about five years old. I'll get the model number if you could let us know out of interest.

I'll get back to the guy i'm building the car for and see waht he wants to do

Cheers
