Seized Passenger door
« on: 04 January 2013, 11:10:16 »

Happy new year to you all.  Any advice welcomed to help open my front passenger door. The handles seem to work but the catch isn't releasing. I can't see how you can get to the lock from the inside without destroying the interior panel as fixings all appear hidden. Bet someone knows the answer.  Many thanks Ant

Apparently you can pull away one side of the door card, without damaging it. This enables you to reach the lock mechanism. Not tried it myself, but well worth a go in your situation.

It is possible to pull back the door card just enough to be able to get limited access to the door lock mechanism, but it might result in slight damage to the door card.
