Hmmm...
« on: 29 April 2008, 17:03:06 »

Im thinking of selling my Facelift 2.6 CDX to get a 3.2 MV6/Elite.
Im doing this because i want a bit more power but i dont want a 3.0 because i got an eye on a car at the moment.
At the moment i also own a BMW 525i Sport automatic.
What is a 3.2 like against my BMW 525i?

Thanks

Can only compare my 3.0 v 528! auto of a few years ago.
My Omega is quicker, smoother, more economical than the BMW (mine anyway) but it is manual, compared to the auto 528i
In fact, I normally change my cars every 2 years maximum, but i've owned this 2000 model for over 6, which tells its own story really.  :)

Personally speaking I think it is worth it, also the difference in the price of parts between Opel/Vx and BMW will easily outweigh the tax IMHO:y

A 3.2 is in the same tax band as a 2.6 - unless the 2.6 is a manual saloon, IIRC.
