Air bag on the steering wheel squib

The air bag light has come on now just about to go for a retest tried the tec 2 telling me its the squib behind the steering,
any know the price of these, is it a diy job or a garage job thanks.

I have replaced many clock-springs, but never in Omega. Usually special tool is needed, which is about $20

Dont neeed one of those.It justs makes it a bit easier. ;)
If you need the whole airbag unit ? I would imagine they are very expensive.On the other habd,a second hand one might not be 100% relibale if you need it. I have a second hand one if thats a route your considering.

Squib is the pyro part.



OP - what was the code, and was it "PRESENT"?

Although, in case of High Resistence Drivers Squib, I'd change the contacter.

My mate used his tec 2 so dont know code but said it may be the contact in the so called squib so having a look later
