Well, when I feel better again, this is going to be inevitible. It's thirsty - much more so than a 3.2 Omega Auto. 17mpg locally, 26mpg on a run at best.
Cost of LPG kits is quite low at the moment.. so I may as well do it...
This is going to be a challenging/exciting project for me really - I've never gassed anything other than an Omega.
I will use Stag 300+ and KME gold dual output vap.
The engine is essentially a Duratec V6. Does this have weaker valves like the Zetec? if so - flashlube?
I don't have a clue where to start with wiring for switched feed, RPM, etc.. whereas the Omega I know where to look by eye..
that will be something I'll have to look into!
Also - there is a huge spare wheel recess for a tank - BUT the battery is located next to it. I need to check whether that would fall foul of the COP.
