Pointless baying for blood as you put it Chris. We are closing our prisons and employing private sector pooftas to look after all the naughty boys.

but say you get 3 years jail and a 2 year driving ban,does the ban start when you get out of jail? as you not going to be driving while in jail so a bit pointless really

No. Mine started immediately and, when I came out of jail, I still had a six month ban cause no one actually serves three years.

I think though Steve it has, over the last two years (?) been amended so that the ban starts after release from prison.
