I have a problem  my car is steering to the left with out holding the steering wheel To go straight I am having to hold the steering wheel to the right , looking at the steering wheel the position to go straight means the spars on the steering wheel are such that the indicator stalk is not visible as the spar is hiding it and the wiper arm is above the other roughly 10 to 4 on a clock face
 I have been to WIM twice now and going again Monday to see if he can sort it
Just wondered if any one had any ideas
I was told that the road camber could be causing the drift when going up the hill but its the same on every road I Have tried it on

Castor and camber can affect it.

Yes but Tonys had it on the machine twice now and everything was green after he adjusted it

Is this a sudden change? Ie ok one minute, not the next?
Or a gradual thing?
Any work done?

Pull tends to be camber related if all is mechanically sound. If the car goes straight, when the steering is central toe should be correct. So something as pulling the car off line.

...pressures ok? Any pre existing tyre wear from a previous set up, or wheels re fitted on the wrong side, or from the rear/any combination of? That type of thing.

if all the angles are correct,then check the curcumfrence of the tyres, this is/was a common problem around mk, the cure was swap tyres round eg  left to right ---right to left.
  in the motorsport world its called stagger, and thats a whole book on it own

And castor.  Whether directly, or by worn bushes/components.

I have the very same issue and Tony has set mine up twice as well ... still pulls  to the left constantly ... I took it to Tony asfter replacing the wishbomes with new Lemforder ones and new top suspension mountsI also had Tonys garage fit 2 new front tyres at the same time and it STILL pulls left ... so it sounds like a similar thing....in the words of Nigel Farage "Baffling!"

Actually, I'm not sure that's relevant, as they had trouble getting my steering wheel central. Once the track rods where freed off and set correctly, the steering wheel was then straight.

And also examine both rear tyres VERY carefully, especially if they're not a matching pair.

All my tires are the same and fairly recent , the only thing that's new is the front drop links
Tony checked the tyre pressures on the front
The front tyres had worn on the inner edges

The only thing I have noticed looking at the read out sheet it's says the car is a 2.0 4cyl rather than a2.6 just wondering if that will be anything to do with it ??
As I said its going back over tomorrow afternoon

Doubt it tbh, seem to remember similar on my readouts at one point. Soon corrected I might add.

Target settings are the same anyway, I'm fairly sure.
