Timing belt on trade club

Would a timing belt kit and water pump for a vectra c 2.2 fit a 02 omega 2.2 , any car over 10 yrs has very few parts on trade club in Ireland.Car has 52k and belt was last changed in 07 at 35k .

Isn't Vectra C 2.2 a chain?

From the Opel dealer would cost  200 euros I would prefer not to use after market parts .

Price sounds about right. Genuine timing kit is around £110 and the pump is maybe £45-50. That would equate to about 200 euro.
Others will advise re actual costs, and you could consider AndyC, though postage will then become an issue.

If it's a Z22SE then you would need to ensure that you get the oil feed pipe changed too; I think cars with Z22SE engines were subject to a product recall up to 2004 registered vehicles due to a restrictive oil feed pipe. The replacement item has a slightly larger hole to assist with lubrication of the chain; many of the early ones snapped prematurely.
