Which Christmas Pete? Our postie reckons amazon came down hard on the PO a while back, threatening to introduce penalties for damage/late delivery.
Personally, I have never received anything late or damaged from amazon, and I must have had hundreds of items.

Mrs. KW's Kindle had to go back under warranty. Courier came to collect it. Never got delivered to Amazon. Luckily she got a collection receipt, and I de-registered it from her account first, as I bet it went straight on Ebay.
