Steering wheel how to remove

Steering wheel how to remove it and what tools do i need on my 03 omega

Iirc...

Ignition off, keys out
Two torx from the back to remove air bag
 remove air bag wires
Push lock washer tabs down
Undo centre nut
Knees and one hand pulling on steering wheel so it's under tension
With free hand, short sharp hard tap on centre shaft

Sw should pull off, mind it doesn't smack you in the face. ;)

Cant remember off hand. It's a two minute job to remove the torx and have a look. Just make sure keys are out. ;)

Remember to mark the relative positions of wheel and shaft before removal and replace as found. :y

And don't put them back until its all back together or you'll need Tech 2 or similar to kill the light :y

And be careful it doesnt smack you in the face when it suddenly loosens its grip on the splines. ;)

And be careful it doesnt smack you in the face when it suddenly loosens its grip on the splines. ;)

Leave the nut on the last couple of threads until steering wheel is loose.  :y

Ive removed enough Omega steering wheels to have no excuse for forgetting. ;D
I broke my two front teeth last year,but that was while messing around with a rear seat belive it or not.It could only happen to me. ;D
