Got an email today from AGS saying that the smaller tank would drop the price to £1200.
Even better, though I'd still like to DIY. Wish I'd been a bit closer to Guffer, and his tank  :-\

Anyway, any of the kits currently on the bay worth considering?

There's nothing (much) wrong with a Stag kit IF you can actually get one from our usual supplier who was bloody brilliant back in the days when you could actually get in touch with him ::) The kit supplied is Comprehensive and tailored specifically to the Omega thanks to the unflagging efforts of Paul (Lazydocker) who has been metaphorically run ragged acting as go-between, and may be your best bet to get a Result! :y

Unfortunately Teilo is no longer the importer for Stag after he dropped them for various reasons. He is, at present, taking a break from the LPG industry and assessing the merits of returning :'( He might have a few kits left but is currently very hard to get hold of and that means I can't promise to get kits for anyone now.

If the situation changes I will update.

Well, just spoke to my insurers on LD's advice, and they won't cover a conversion at all. Renewal isn't due until July, so don't really know what to do now. I'll need to make a few enquiries first to see who, if any, may cover it.  :(

Who are you with? I'm with Direct Line, when it was first converted they just wanted to have it known to them, now it needs to be on the register.

I'm surprised they won't touch it at-all, sure they are plenty of providers out there that will  :y
