Galaxy fault codes
« on: 03 February 2013, 19:40:47 »

My mate is having trouble today with his Galaxy going into limp mode. I've Googled but can't find a way to read codes on a Galaxy without professional help.

Does anyone on here know if you can do a Pedal Trick type trick on a Galaxy please ?

Thanks for reading.

The answer is going to be a no I should think, but just out of curiosity, what year is it?  Petrol or Derv?

Forscan or better still if it's the Galaxy built in conjunction with Vw/Seat then the excellent VCDS. I have fully legal copies of both

It's a 2008 Edge Diesel.

Local garages say they can't read the codes as Ford haven't released the codes for post 2007 cars.

My old Omega is much simpler !

Googled it. I've told him he'll have to try specialist car tuners etc and not just bend over for Ford.

Thanks all.
