Coming to a street near you?
« on: 05 February 2013, 12:58:51 »

A Muslim anti-extremist organisation has warned that we can expect to see 'Muslim Patrols' becoming more common and they are likely in the future to get much more violent with the possibility injury or even death.  >:( >:( >:( >:(

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/crime/9836109/Muslim-patrols-could-become-more-prevalent-and-more-violent-warns-anti-extremist.html

Sorry Lizzie, but I don't except you "John Pilger" idealist view of the world, I'm too pragmatic and a realist. I think things are going to turn much nastier, like happened in Toulouse in France last year.  Much of the blame for this will come from those in charge in the UK for creating the problem and then trying to appease the unacceptable. >:( >:( >:( >:(

I personally prefer the Australian approach which was repeated last week, which has basically told Muslims to integrate and accept the society standards of the host country they have chosen to live in or leave.  :y :y :y

I don't see why when it is a Muslim organisation producing the warning and an article in the DT?

And I remember posting the thoughts (supposedly?) Of the Australian premier and government on this issue, about a year ago. Don't ever remember seeing it though ???  :-\

Possibly ..... but why should the volunteer admin staff have to sit and work through a thread "pruning" it because some folks can't obey either the simple rules of common courtesy/decency or the equally simple rules of the site ??

Far more efficient, and possibly effective in the long term, to simply delete such threads in toto.

It is NOT their job to tidy up after others. .....  IMHO   :)

No, it is quite simple from my point of view.  You use current laws to take anyone who patrols the streets in a menacing group off into the land of justice.  Then the full weight of the  law must bring them to book, with hefty prison sentences given.

To repeat, this applies to anyone , regardless of creed, religion, gender, sexuality, or colour.

My last post was, of course, a pisstake, which is exactly what this thread deserves. One anti extremist fickin idiot giving his version of what he thinks might occur at some future date. I might shit a gold brick...but I doubt it and I wouldn't expect anyone to take any notice if I said I might.

Rods2 - Not sure of your link with Ukraine, but you have mentioned it once or twice  ;) . Why don't you just move there to escape all the terrible terrible things that the UK has going on for the moment - which will only get worse of course.

I will be in the next few months moving to there, that is all in hand. I'm looking forward to it and the challenge of having to learn two new languages.  :y

Because I'm moving there doesn't mean that I don't want to see a solvent UK and a happy society for all to live in where I have family and friends here.

I think the setting up of any sort of vigilante groups is bad. I know there was a problem in the 1980's in the US with white groups in New York. Fortunately, zero tolerance policing was introduced to make law breaking tough for everybody and this has considerably improved things for all New Yorkers.
